Prevagen Accessibility Policy
Measures to support accessibility
Quincy Bioscience takes the following measures to ensure the accessibility of Prevagen:
- Include accessibility as part of our mission statement.
- Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.
- Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
- Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.
- Include people with disabilities in our design personas.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Prevagen is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. However, our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level A/AA
conformance.

Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure Prevagen's accessibility, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.
Known limitations for Prevagen:
- Brain Games: Toggle buttons do not receive keyboard focus. Elements are not triggerable through the keyboard because the third party provider has not enabled keyboard support within the content. We are working with the third-party developer to address ALL accessibility issues and are looking for alternative apps that address accessibility in their design.
- Automatic scrolling promotions banner: Banner promotions are announced by the screen reader only after tabbing through everything else on the page. We are working with the 3rd-party developer to address ALL accessibility issues and looking for alternative apps that address accessibility in their design.
- Subscription section in product pages: Interactive elements in the subscription section are not accessible via keyboard because the 3rd-party content does not currently support keyboard navigation. We are working with the 3rd-party developer to address ALL accessibility issues and are looking for alternative apps that address accessibility in their design.
- Update cart dialog box: The update cart dialog box, triggered by changes in cart content, lacks keyboard accessibility, rendering it inaccessible to users with motor disabilities or those relying on screen readers. This prevents these users from updating their carts independently. We are working with the 3rd-party developer to address ALL accessibility issues and looking for alternative apps that address accessibility in their design.
- Some form issues arise when the form is submitted with missing information: This issue arises when the form is submitted with missing information, such as the First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Subject, or Message fields left blank. While sighted users are notified with a visible message in red text stating, "Please complete all required fields," non-sighted users relying on screen readers are not informed of this error. As a result, users with visual impairments cannot identify where the form entry mistake occurred and face challenges in proceeding further, hindering their ability to submit the form successfully. We are working with the 3rd-party developer to address ALL accessibility issues and looking for alternative apps that address accessibility in their design.
