“I saw myself having an improved memory, which at the same time, I felt better about myself.”
My name is Douglas, I’m 79, and I live in Chicago. I’m a writer, director, and I do voices in radio and television.
My wife of 40 years and I have three dogs, which we love dearly, but not more than our 3 sons.
We’ve had a very interesting life living in a number of cities and we’ve traveled all over the world.
I love watching old movies. I played football and hockey. I used to be a marathon runner. Now I’m a walker. I love this city, the hustle and the bustle.
I am constantly exercising in my daily routine. It is nothing for me to walk 17 blocks to get to a recording studio, and the kind of work that I do, you are surrounded by people who are all younger than you. That’s a challenge.
I found myself having to push myself even harder. I had to be healthy in every way if I was going to be able to compete at that level. Memory became a factor. As everyone gets older, ‘Where did I put my keys?’ but I had to get help somewhere along the line to stay competitive.
I happened across Prevagen, which I saw in a commercial and I started taking it. I saw myself having an improved memory, which at the same time, I felt better about myself. Even at my age, I don’t want to miss out on anything, and quite frankly, I don’t. I could not be doing what I’m doing today had it not been for Prevagen.
