Strawberry Chocolate Shake
The following shake is delicious, healthy, and best of all – easy! You can start the day with this shake, or if you have a sweet craving, have it for dessert. Best of all, you don’t need to feel guilty about this treat! The strawberries contain antioxidants and flavonoids, which can help to build healthy connections within the brain. Bananas are a good source of potassium and magnesium, meaning they can help with focus and overall cognitive health. Finally, the cocoa powder contains flavanols, which can support brain function. Drink up!
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup chocolate milk (your preference of dairy or plant-based milk)
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Handful of ice cubes
Add in all of the ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
