Classic Apple Crisp

INGREDIENTS
- Apple Filling
- 7 peeled Honeycrisp apples, cut into small slices
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ⅔ cup honey
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Splash of lemon juice
- Oat Topping
- 1 cup quick oats
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons whipped butter, melted
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Place the peeled and sliced apples, in a bowl. Add in cinnamon, honey, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Mix until well-coated. Place in an oven safe baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
While the filling is baking, mix together your oat topping mixture. Once the 20 minutes has gone by, remove foil, and add topping. Place back in oven and bake for 1 hour, uncovered.
