4 Easy Fall Crafts to try for Kids and Adults
Carving pumpkins takes a lot of work and time, but luckily we have some other great options for fall crafts that can be done with grandkids or with friends.
1. Painting Pumpkins
Painting pumpkins is the way to go if you don’t want to spend time carving a pumpkin. Make sure you clean your pumpkin thoroughly then simply use spray paint or actual paint to make your pumpkin whatever color you want. You can use stencils to add designs or characters or use pom poms, glitter or feathers with Mod Podge to really make your Jack O’Lantern stand out!
2. Crayon Dripped Pumpkins
Crayon Drip is easy to do and makes for a cool result! Choose your crayon colors and remove the wrappers. Place them around the stem of the pumpkin and melt them with a hair dryer on low-heat. Repeat around the whole pumpkin and let it dry all the way.
3. Shaving Cream Marbled Leaves
Find a leaf template on the internet and print them out on cardstock. Cut them out with scissors. Spread shaving cream all over a pan and then add food coloring. Use a spoon to slightly swirl it all together to create a marbled effect, then gently press your paper leaf into the shaving cream and let it sit for at least 10 seconds. Let the leaves sit and dry for five minutes, then hang up that artwork!
4. Pumpkin Stress Balls
Everyone loves a good stress ball! Take orange balloons and fill them with rice. Use black permanent marker to draw fun pumpkin faces on them.
