Jeff Shares His Story
“I've been taking Prevagen for eight months now and you know, it's true to its word. So I'm a true believer.”
Jeff, 61
Tribute Band Performer
One of the interesting things about Jeff is the success he’s earned by being somebody else. Especially when that “somebody else” is a well-known musician whose own band’s unique sound now lives on mainly in the memory of devoted fans.
That is, until Jeff and his tribute band bring it all back again.
Before he embarked on his successful career as a tribute band performer, this 61-year-old Californian was a project manager for businesses in the construction health care sector. Today Jeff and his wife of 32 years live comfortably in San Pedro, a community overlooking some famous surfer beaches on the Pacific coast. He also performs on tours that his wife books for the band across the country playing the music of big-name rockers who once ruled the music world.
“I play in about four different tribute bands,” Jeff explains, ticking off the identities of several famous musicians and their bands that his own band plays tribute to by carefully and respectfully matching their true sound, costumes, and high-energy stage performances, “we tour all over the country from out here in California to New York and other points east.”
Jeff also has another large part of his life story to share. “I had been in the construction industry a long time, ever since I graduated from high school,” as he tells his story.
“At the end of 2023, I retired and decided to spend the next 10 to 12 years strictly as a professional musician,” he says. “I've been a professional musician for about 40 years, and I really wanted my focus to be on my music while I'm still young and healthy.
“I play all my lead guitar solos and I pride myself on playing them note for note just like on the record, and I also needed to stay sharp with the lyrics.”
Jeff sums up his Prevagen experience with a few words that this time tell his own story, not somebody else’s.
“I’d seen some of the Prevagen commercials and decided to give it a try. I was kind of skeptical at first, you know, but I've been taking Prevagen for eight months now and you know, it's true to its word. So I'm a true believer.”
